About us

The Wedding Garden Company began in 2002, when a beautiful 100 year old walled garden was lovingly brought back to life, and replanted with hundreds of plants given as wedding presents. Since this happy occasion and our first wedding, director Kate Crosby has developed the company to its present size - still small enough to provide a highly personal and individual service, but large enough to manage wedding lists throughout the UK.

Kate is still personally involved in all aspects of the service from discussing with clients their ideas for designs and creating planting lists, to dealing with enthusiastic guests that telephone the office to choose their present. A passionate gardener herself, Kate has had many years experience of gardening. When her family were young she worked part time at Wych Cross Nurseries, then for many years at Wakehurst Place (the country home of Kew Gardens ) and now, on a daily basis, in her own large garden in Sussex.
