Making your list

This is the exciting bit! Having decided to use the Wedding Garden Company to manage your wedding gift list, first choose one of the Options and then you can begin.

Please register with us first, you may do this on-line, then, if you have chosen the Simple List we suggest that you complete the Gift List Form and return it to us by email or post.

If you would like some help creating plant ideas but still want the Simple List i.e. you do not want a visit, we can send you a copy of the RHS Good Plant Guide containing 3000 recommended plants. Or for those happier on the computer, we can supply you with the CD-Rom 'Complete Gardens'.

If you have chosen the Advised or Designed List, please telephone us for an appointment on 01342 823123 or wait for us to call you, which we will do as soon as we receive your registration.

In addition to asking for plants as wedding presents, you may like to be given some garden products.  The Wedding Garden Company has sourced a comprehensive range of special products that no garden should be without!

These garden goodies have been chosen for their practical, aesthetic and design qualities.  From the best (in our view) gardening gloves and secateurs to the most desirable garden building - so desirable in fact, that we at the WGC have two, one for work and one for play! However please note these are just ideas (we do not stock any products) and our ideas are there to inspire you. 

Most lists include terracotta pots and some garden tools as well as plants; they may provide an opportunity to acquire a stunning sculpture to which friends can contribute - basically we suggest that you tell us what you would ideally like to be given and we will do the rest.

Prices of plants: unlike the conventional wedding list where each towel and casserole has a fixed price, the cost of plants vary (according to the season, availability and hazards: bugs and slugs etc!). As a rough guide, we suggest that for the purposes of list-making, you estimate Perennials @ £10 each; Shrubs @ £18 and Trees @ £25 - £30. Once we receive your wedding gift list we will read it through and let you know if you have chosen something rare and wonderful that may cost more. Final list cost will include all adminstration charges and normally the delivery cost as well.

Prices of products: please send us a list of the products that you are interested in, and we will give you the current retail price including vat. Please note, there are no prices indicated on the Product Pages, you have to ask. We invite you to use the product pages as inspiration, unfettered by what your ideal gift might cost, remember your gift list is the one part of your wedding that will cost you nothing - a wonderful opportunity to have what you really want! Again, final list cost will include all adminstration charges but, unlike in the case of the plants, usually not the delivery cost.

Gift List Forms
To email your gift list to us you should use the Microsoft Word version of the form. If you do not have Word or you simply want to print the form out there are copies of both forms in Adobe Acrobat format.
