- Your wedding gift list service really appeals to me but I haven't a clue what to ask for.
- Can I have a modest plant present list with you and a conventional gift list elsewhere?
- I'd like to be given plants but there is already quite an established garden where we will be living.
- I'm getting married in the winter. Would it be all right to have a garden delivered then?
- A new garden is just what we want (we have both been married before and already have two of everything) but there is so much to do that I am worried I wont have the time to plant it up until ages after we are married and settled.
- What happens if even then I am really too busy?
- We are house-hunting at the moment so we haven't got a garden but I really like this wedding gift list idea, we have been together for years and have already bought all the things we like and need for the home.
- We are planning to move soon, so although we love your wedding present service it seems rather a waste.

Well, we can visit you and bring books to help you settle on the plants you like. Also if we can see your garden we will be able to advise on which plants will be happiest there, and how many would create a display that will best represent your wedding day.
Of course, whatever you like! We have a link with the best cookery shop in London, so if you are considering a combined list this might be helpful. Please ask us about the one nearest to you. See an example of a combined list.
You could opt for the 'advised list' and we will visit you and your garden to discuss how the new plants will merge in. You might want a special wedding bed, sometimes that is an opportunity to clear out part of the garden that is a bit tired so as to make space for the new. There are bound to be other options.
It might be best to wait until the ground has warmed up a bit and the spring is on its way. But winter is an excellent time to dig new beds and plan your garden. Delivery of your plants can be held until you and your garden are ready for them.
That's fine: we can deliver the plants when you are ready.
Well we can suggest a local firm who can do the planting for you. If you guess you are going to need such help just let us know and we will make some suggestions.
The Wedding Garden Company has built-in flexibility about what plants your guests may give you. We would suggest that you make a gift list of your favourite shrubs, that will give your friends and guests an idea of what their present could be - a clematis, a rose or a magnolia for example. Then their gift (in money) can buy just what you need, once you have found your new home.
Making the garden beautiful can add a good 10% to the value of your property which may be a consideration? Perhaps gifts of plants in pots, and garden products, would be the answer.
When you are ready for it! We will fit in with you. But, having said that, we would not recommend midwinter for the plants. You may like to have the garden products delivered separately.
