Garden essentials

If your garden already has a beautiful tree, why not encircle it with a tree seat and while away the Summer beneith its boughs.  As the sun moves so can you - enjoying a varied view all day long.

Eating out of doors has to be one of lifes' great pleasures and your wedding is the ideal time to invest in some decent garden furniture.  There are many other styles to suit individual taste - please ask.

Tea for two?

This corner seat is the perfect place to endulge in conversation with friends.

Love Seat by Jake Phipps

This seat is carved from the heart of an old oak tree. Originally designed as a ‘courting chair’ , allowing couples to sit together – but not too closely! Designer and furniture maker Jake Phipps was inspired by Rodin sculpture ‘The Kiss’ and has christened his bold design the ‘Love Seat’. Sensual, romantic and evocative this is a commission you will keep for life and grow to love with the changing seasons. You may have it inscribed – perhaps with the date of your wedding or as here with some poetry.

Chelsea by Matthew Burt

At first glance you may think this stylish black bench would look more at home in a Chelsea garden than nestling amongst the bluebells in your coppice or under the oak across the lawn. It is not for nothing that it is part of Matthew Burt's 'up on the downs' collection though, as, being made of oak and stainless steel it is designed as outdoor seating. Fantastically comfortable, dramatic to look at and quite unique. There is a pale oak model too if you don’t feel brave enough for the black.

Given that our clients are all to be wed we just had to include this oak Kissing Seat too which has arm rest decorated with revolving wooden balls.

Garden Bench

Even the smallest garden needs a bench. Not only does it invite you to rest a moment to admire the fruits of your labour, it creates an atmosphere in its own right, by structuring a scene of peacefulness and tranquillity.

Indian Ocean who supply our benches are founding members of the WWF 95+ Group and are committed to good forest management. They have an extensive range which you are welcome to explore – but just to tempt you, I really like the slim elegant lines of the back struts on the Heritage range, the 1.5 model illustrated above and right.

The Portland (below) is 1.5m - other sizes available.

Wrought Iron Selection

Our search for wrought iron furniture led us naturally to the pretty collection from Iron Made. Their range, with its elegant proportions, is nice and solid despite being able to fold away flat for convenient winter storage. Love seats, table and chair sets and tree seats are all available.
